Our last part of the Marketing Series, is of course all about SELLING.
I know for a lot of us this is the hardest part about running our business, but the reality of it all, is that selling is essential to keeping us afloat.
I will be the first to admit, that I used to do it once and then hide. Anyone else know what I’m talking about?
Selling tends to have a negative connotation around what it actually is, but the truth is that if you truly believe in what you have to offer and know the benefits of what it can do for the lives of your ideal client, than that’s what you lead with every single time.
So the question is how? How can we sell and pitch our offer in a way that makes sense to our followers, aligns with our personal brand, and is seen as THE solution?
In this article, I’ll be sharing with you three ways that you can sell with ease, without feeling “salesy,” and with a strategy that will convert your followers into customers.
Create an offering you believe in.
Part of having a sales strategy, is having an irresistible offering that lights you up when you talk about it. It can be hard to pitch if what you feel like you’re selling is just you bothering people, but when you’re confident about the products and services you have to offer, the words you choose to describe it WILL RESONATE with your ideal clients. If you’re struggling to put together an offering that you’re confident about, go back to the drawing board and do your market research by asking your ideal clients some questions on what they need help with.
Position your offering with a warm audience.
It always feel right to sell your service or product, when you’ve given a ton of value to your followers. Selling to an audience that you haven’t made connections with, been resourceful for, or given away value to benefit the lives and businesses of your dream customers, is going to be a hard sell. You want to make sure that you are nurturing relationships with your followers by delivering valuable content every week, so when it comes time to pitch your offer, it will make sense and it will feel right.
Pitch your offer with conviction.
What do I mean by this? Tell your story. Tell the story of your clients through testimonials. The stories are important because that’s how your ideal clients are going to be able to relate to you and what it is that you have to offer.
Tell us about how your offering is the fast track to getting them from Point A to Point B, what transformations has it made for you,?WHY have you created the offering? and how has it benefited your clients or how will it? These are questions to answer that will also help you create the best copy to pitch your offering with complete conviction.
Those are my three tips to help you sell with ease, without feeling “salesy,” and in a very impactful and strategic way that will get your followers to take action.
