Did you know that the words that you use are so significant in marketing your business?

The words that we choose to represent our businesses, our personal lives, and ultimately our personal brand will have great impact on our followers. But we don’t want our words to just resonate, we want it to resonate with those we wish our businesses seeks to serve.

So how do we attract our ideal clients using just our words? I’m going to share with you three ways that you can create compelling copy in a very confident and meaningful way that will attract your dream customers to the mission of your business.

  1. Story telling

It has been my observation and even personal experience that we forget that marketing is happening all the time. it is not selling. it is not pitching. It’s how we portray who we are and the business we built. Our words can have meaning and power if we choose to share our story! We don’t want to create a barrier between us and our customers by continuously sharing what our business has to offer. Our followers want to feel something through our own experiences, passions, desires, and our WHY. IN order for us to create change we have to compel our audience in a way that they can relate to, and that is absolutely through story telling.

  2. Speak with empathy

The best way to attract your dream customers and to empower them through your copy, is to speak with complete empathy. If you truly understand your ideal client, you’ll know their pain points and understand how to use words to describe and speak to them in a way that is relatable. Meaning, if you know the challenges, the struggles, the hardships that they may be going through, you can empathize with them through not only story telling, but by talking about your own experiences in the struggle. Your ideal clients should be able to feel something when you speak to them. They should feel validated through your story and your messaging when you describe to them that you understand exactly what they are going through.

  3. Talk about the transformations

It’s not enough to continue to sell your products and to talk about all of the promotions of your business to compel your audience to buy from you. People don’t just buy because of a great deal, they buy because they KNOW, LIKE, AND TRUST ME. Maybe they’re new to you, but their friends have shared who you are and if they trust you, then there must be some credit there. If your ideal clients can see the transformations that you’re making in the lives of others, then that’s where you start to create loyal customers.

So there you have it. Compelling copy is very much key to your marketing strategy. You can have the best photo content, the best content topics, but if you can’t empower your ideal clients to make a change in their lives through vulnerability it will be very difficult to convert them to customers.

People buy from people. They buy because they feel something when you speak to them. That’s the piece that we forget is so important in marketing our businesses.

BE COMPLETELY YOU! BE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED when you talk about the reasons WHY you’re in business. Speak with empathy and with great understanding and then I promise you, you will create meaningful and loyal relationships with your ideal customers.
